Role
Role & Responsibilities
You will be working one-to-one with a child, supporting their learning and development within the EYFS framework. You'll build strong relationships with the child, their family, and the wider team, creating a positive and stimulating learning environment. You'll be actively involved in planning and delivering engaging activities tailored to the child's individual needs. This is a fulfilling opportunity to make a real difference in a young person's life.
Main tasks include
* Delivering engaging and stimulating 1:1 learning experiences
* Creating and implementing individualized learning plans
* Building strong relationships with the child and their family
* Collaborating with the wider team to ensure a consistent approach
* Monitoring and assessing the child's progress
* Maintaining accurate records and documentation
Requirements
* Minimum Level 2 or 3 childcare qualification
* Recent experience supporting children with SEN
* Passionate about early childhood education
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Commitment to safeguarding children
* A nurturing and supportive approach to learning
* Ability to create engaging learning activities
* Experience working within EYFS is highly desirable
* Immediate availability is essential
