Role description:
At SAP, we help the world run better and improve people’s lives. As a Senior Value Advisor in the Netherlands, you will play a critical role in enabling the strategic direction of our customers by connecting their business goals to tangible outcomes through SAP solutions. You will act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives, helping them identify, quantify, and realize business value through digital transformation. You will guide them across the full value lifecycle — from strategic vision and business case development to value realization and continuous improvement. This role is an ideal fit for professionals with deep strategy consulting, business case development, and industry-specific experience, who are passionate about creating impact through value-driven engagements
Role tasks/activities:
-Develop the Case for Change and Build Strategic Business Cases
-Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand your clients’ growth strategies within their specific industry and market context.
-Conduct in-depth analysis of strategic objectives, revenue models, competitive landscape, and operating models.
-Build compelling business cases and transformation roadmaps aligned with SAP’s solution capabilities and the client’s 3–5 year strategic plan.
-Apply value-based selling techniques to position SAP solutions as enablers of sustainable, profitable growth.
-Understand Industry Value Chains and End-to-End Processes
-Leverage deep industry insights to help customers navigate complex business environments.
-Analyze industry value chains and core business processes across sectors to identify high-impact improvement opportunities.
-Tailor SAP solution narratives to resonate with customer-specific challenges and strategic imperatives.
-Support demand generation and account planning by linking SAP innovations to key industry trends and benchmarks.
-Lead the Value Engagement Across Every Stage and Drive Value Realization
-Oversee the entire value lifecycle from discovery to realization and optimization. This includes leading engagement efforts such as business case development and value realization services.
-Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure that value realization is continuously monitored and optimized.
-Drive Business and IT Alignment in Large Accounts
-Act as a strategic advisor to align business and technology stakeholders within large enterprise customers.
-Facilitate executive workshops and strategic planning sessions to ensure shared understanding of transformation goals.
-Utilize value frameworks to help customers translate strategic outcomes into concrete roadmaps and business cases supported by SAP’s intelligent technologies.
What you bring:
-10+ years of professional experience in Sales, Consulting, Industry, or Line of Business roles, including at least 5 years in strategy or management consulting.
-Proven expertise in business case development, value analysis, and financial justification of enterprise transformation initiatives.
-Strong executive presence, with excellent communication and relationship management skills.
-Demonstrated customer-facing experience, including:
-Managing business and IT alignment
-Conducting executive interviews
-Designing and facilitating C-level workshops
-Industry knowledge in one or more of the following sectors is preferred: High Tech, Industrial Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, and/or Financial Services.
-Fluency in both English and Dutch.
-Master’s degree.
This role is based in the Netherlands because of customer proximity requirements and we can only consider candidates which will not require a relocation
