As a key member of the People & Culture team, you will serve as the designated business partner to your assigned unit. In this role, you will work closely with business leaders to deliver effective and efficient HR services that support organizational goals. You will also drive HR initiatives and programs across rewards, talent management, succession planning, performance management, and employee engagement.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
-Partner with business leaders to provide people advisory support in achieving the business unit’s strategic objectives.
-Drive capability building by leveraging the HR agenda to support organizational growth.
-Collaborate with business leaders on manpower planning, including headcount tracking and staff cost budgeting.
-Develop and implement HR strategies and programs to support business needs and enhance performance.
-Guide and advise line managers on managing staff performance and supporting employee development.
-Mediate conflicts and provide coaching, consultative advice and support to employees at all levels.
-Participate in any Ad-hoc HR projects/initiative.
Competencies and Attributes:
-Degree in Business Administration, preferably with a focus in Human Resources Management
-IHRP certification preferred.
-Minimum 10 years of HR business partnering experience.
-Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
-Solid knowledge of employment legislation, HR policies and best practices.
-Effective verbal and written communication skills.
-Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage staff of all levels.
-Hands-on, adaptable and able to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
-Analytical with strong numerical and problem solving skills.
