What you'll build
As an Allocation Accountant, you will play a key role in Intercompany Accounting and Management Allocations, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions. Your main responsibilities include:

-Posting and reconciling intercompany journal entries to ensure financial accuracy.
-Managing intercompany requests, keeping stakeholders informed and resolving discrepancies.
-Running allocation cycles, including assessment and distribution of costs.
-Processing expense and revenue reclassifications from the CO-reposting inbox.
-Supporting month-end closing activities to ensure smooth financial operations.
-Providing operational support to Controllers and maintaining strong business relations.
-Collaborating with the Allocation Accounting Center of Excellence (CoE) for process improvements.
-Contributing to global standardization efforts, aligning processes across different regions

What You Bring
To be successful in this role, you should have:

-At least two years of experience in accounting, preferably in management accounting or intercompany processes.
-Fluency in English (both written and verbal) for effective global communication.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.
-Proficiency in SAP systems and MS Excel to manage financial transactions efficiently.
-Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders across different locations.
-A team-oriented mindset, capable of working in both virtual and on-site teams.
-Adaptability to an international environment, valuing diversity and inclusion.
This position is open to candidates based in Prague (Czech Republic) or Manila (Philippines) offering a dynamic and multicultural workplace
Where you belong
You will be joining SAP’s Global Finance Success (GFS) organization, which is a key pillar of Global Finance. Our team ensures efficiency, compliance, and standardization of finance processes worldwide.
Within GFS, the General Accounting Services team is responsible for Revenue, Expense, Cash & Bank, and Allocations Accounting. As part of the Allocations Accounting team, we focus on:

-Management Allocations – Handling cost allocations, approval processes, and operational support.
-Intercompany Accounting – Ensuring compliance in intercompany financial transactions.
-ICO Royalties – Managing cost allocation of third-party royalty expenses and legal license fee calculations.
We work closely with Local Chief Accountants (LCAs), Tax Managers, Controllers, and process delivery teams to ensure high-quality financial services across SAP’s global subsidiaries.
