Summary
To plan, execute, and lead electrical programming and controls of turbo test cells for customer testing projects. This position will be responsible for technical knowledge, as well problem solving, trouble shooting, and conductive research for overall customer satisfaction related to projects at the facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible to fully understand set up and programming of Siemens PLC programs for fluid flow testing. Design and Modification of PC Based Data Acquisition Systems; including troubleshooting of issues Analyze and identify sensors and controls to meet customer test requirements Perform testing and calibration of all required test equipment during testing Review, analyze, and prepare documentation and reporting of test results Maintain equipment records and perform required maintenance Supports a continuous learning attitude for relevant technical knowledge. Knowledge comes from internal and external training sessions, experience, and tests carried out on certain projects. Participate in and complete any mandatory labor support to achieve testing requirements and financial goals of the departments. Adheres to all company rules, policies, and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned by Aerodyn management.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent Skillset is Preferred (or related field) 5+ years of Testing, Automotive, or similar industry experience Knowledge of PLC programming and applicable codes related to electronic engineering; design and calculation software experience is helpful Must have a strong mechanical aptitude and demonstrate the ability to develop creative solutions Strong PC skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Word & Outlook) Strong oral, written, and technical communication skills Must be highly motivated, self-directed, and be comfortable operating independently as well as within a team environment Must demonstrate the ability to act in a professional manner no matter the circumstance
