Responsibilities

As an Environmental Consultant, you will:

* Conduct environmental assessments and audits to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
* Provide expert advice on environmental management and sustainability strategies.
* Prepare detailed reports and documentation for clients and regulatory bodies.
* Collaborate with clients to develop tailored solutions to environmental challenges.
* Stay up-to-date with environmental legislation and industry developments.
* Travel to client sites across the region, ensuring effective project delivery.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* A degree in an environmental discipline (e.g., Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Geology, or a related field).
* A full, clean UK driving licence (essential).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
* A proactive and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
* Live commutable to North Yorkshire

Day-to-Day

Your typical day will involve:

* Visiting client sites to conduct environmental assessments and gather data.
* Analysing findings and preparing comprehensive reports.
* Liaising with clients to discuss project requirements and provide updates.
* Collaborating with colleagues to develop innovative environmental solutions.
* Keeping abreast of changes in environmental legislation and ensuring compliance.
