Fibrelite Composites designs, manufactures, tests and provides components and products to protect the environment and the consumer.
Physical Work Requirements:
• Standing/ sitting / walking 8-10 hours
• Bending
• Reaching
• Pushing/pulling
• Squatting
• Must be able to use adhesives, lubricants, etc.
• Small hand tools usage
• Lifting 50 lbs./23 KG frequently
• Work in manufacturing environment, including non-air condition
• Work at height – mezzanine, walking stairs frequently
Job Description:
• Ensuring best safety, quality & productivity performance levels are being maintained at all times.
• Ability to take direction from supervisor and cell leader.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to be flexible and cross train to work in a variety of cells as assigned.
• Completing required assembly activities for an assigned cell while consistently maintaining product quality and safe work practices. Walking between working stations including testing machines.
• Meeting and maintaining daily production rates and goals as established and required by the company.
• Reading and following standard work instructions.
• Keeping supervisory staff informed of all cell activity including, but not limited to, information related to quality, parts supply and safety issues that may occur within the scope of responsibility.
• Attending all required trainings and meetings including 0Dover meetings located on other mezzanine.
• Adhering to safety procedures at all times, including wearing all required PPE.
• Addressing all quality and safety concerns via the appropriate channels for an assigned cell.
• Participating in all required continuous improvement activities.
• Keeping work station clean, orderly and free of safety hazards at all times.
• Actively participating in all department projects, tasks and objectives.
• Maintaining the highest ethical standards.
• Must be able to use all required tools and equipment in an assigned work area.
• Must be able to work with testing equipment.
• Sustaining an acceptable attendance record.
• Adhering to all required company policies.
• Performing other job duties as assigned by management team including work in other departments located on mezzanines and other unit.
• Completing all required documentation.
• Ensuring that all equipment used in the department is properly maintained and operational at all the times.
• Completing required assembly and testing activities for an assigned cell while consistently maintaining products quality and safe work practices.
• Using high-pressure testing equipment and other equipment required by production process.
• Maintaining the highest ethical standards.
Required Skills:
• Good communication skills .
• Ability to effectively problem-solve, in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective time management, planning and strong organizational skills.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Fine and gross motor skills
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Must be able to work overtime if required
