About the Role
We are excited to share an opportunity for the role of ESG Analyst to join Vinarchy’s Global Safety & Sustainability team. This is a full time, permanent position based in Adelaide and offering hybrid working.
The ESG Analyst will play a key role in supporting the global sustainability & climate strategy by managing data, analytics, and reporting across environmental, social, and governance (ESG) areas.
You’ll support the Global Sustainability & Climate Transition Manager in delivering robust ESG disclosures, tracking performance against targets (e.g. emissions, water, waste), and ensuring alignment with global frameworks such as TCFD, SBTi, GRI, and CSRD.
Communications skills will be key as you work closely with teams across global regions to provide insights that drive progress toward Vinarchy’s climate and sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities:
-Collect, validate, and manage ESG performance data across global operations, ensuring accuracy and audit readiness.
-Support the implementation and optimisation of ESG data platforms and tools (e.g., Intelex).
-Develop dashboards and visualisations to communicate sustainability performance effectively.
-Assist in preparing ESG disclosures aligned with frameworks such as TCFD, GRI, SASB, CDP, and SBTi.
-Contribute to Vinarchy’s annual Sustainability Report and other stakeholder publications.
-Track global ESG reporting obligations and coordinate submissions to rating agencies and investor questionnaires.
-Support ESG software rollout, user onboarding, training, and ongoing system improvements.
-Analyse environmental metrics including Scope 1–3 emissions, energy, water, and waste, and support climate risk assessments.
-Provide analytical support for sustainability initiatives such as renewable energy, biodiversity, and packaging.
-Research ESG trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement and enhance internal capabilities.
Other requirements:
-Occasional travel may be required to operational sites or regional offices
-Role may expand as ESG frameworks and regulations evol
What We're Looking For:
-Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related discipline
-2–4 years' experience in ESG, sustainability analytics, corporate reporting, or data governance
-Familiarity with key ESG reporting frameworks (e.g., GHG Protocol, CDP, GRI, TCFD)
-Advanced Excel/data analysis skills, with proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
-Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
