Operations Assistant
Location: Godalming, Surrey
Salary: A£28,754 per annum
Vacancy Type: Permanent, 39 hours per week, Tuesday to Friday, 08.00 - 17.00 and Saturday 08.00 - 16.00

The Role
The role is comprised of many tasks including but not exclusive to:
* Cleaning of the School
* Room set ups
* Post
* Laundry
* Housekeeping
* Waste and recycling collection
Some of these tasks can be within tight deadlines and working with lots of different departments across the school.
Key Responsibilities
* The setup of venues across the school to the correct standards for both internal and external events. This also includes Enterprises events that take place in out of term periods.
* Exams support by way of the correct setup, furniture, equipment and papers needed in the appropriate time frames.
* Collect post from different locations within the site and process both the internal and external mail.
* Logistics across site including collection and disposal of waste/recycling.
* The supply and movement of furniture as requested for either pupil buildings or function set ups.
* Manage the central stores and delivery of cleaning products to the correct venues.
* Working with the Laundry team by collecting and returning the laundry according to the schedule.
* Ability to drive School vehicles including the Luton tailgate van.
* Clean, when necessary, inside areas of school to a professional standard and when needed.

* Physically fit as this role can require frequent manual handling.
