JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
Supports the Internal Audit department by participating in the day to day activities of the group. Specific tasks will be assigned based on the needs of the department, including execution of internal audits and performance of SOX testing.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

-Performs walkthroughs and testing of SOX 404 controls to assess internal controls over financial reporting and other financial aspects of the Company.
-Supports performance of internal audits by conducting thorough fieldwork, preparing work papers in accordance with departmental and IIA standards, identifying and documenting findings, related exposures, business risk/implications and areas of potential operational improvements.
-Participates in risk assessments to identify risks and opportunities designed to improve business processes and information systems across the Company.
-Supports the Internal Audit department with day to day tasks
-Conducts data analysis.
-Prepares documents, spreadsheets, presentations, interoffice correspondence and copies.
-Conducts follow-ups in a detailed fashion.
-Handles multiple assignments and works within deadlines.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum education required of the position
Must be currently pursuing undergrad or master’s degree in accounting, finance, information technology or other business-related field. Must have a GPA of 3.0 or above.
Minimum experience required of the position
Some work experience preferred.

-Must be proficient in MS Office tools - Word, Excel and PowerPoint
