Manufacturing Team Leader
Location : Liverpool, L34
Job type : Permanent
Hours: 4 on, 4 off (2 days, 2 nights)
Salary: A£33,600 per annum
Are you an experienced Team Leader with a background in FMCG or food production? Hawk 3 Talent Solutions, operating as an employment agency, are recruiting for a fantastic opportunity to join a growing manufacturing business that supplies into exciting sectors such as bakery, confectionery, beverages, and nutrition.
We're looking for someone who can bring strong people management skills, a focus on quality, and the drive to keep operations running smoothly day to day.
What you'll be doing:
Leading and supporting a production team to meet daily targets
Ensuring quality, hygiene, and safety standards are consistently achieved
Delegating tasks effectively across the packing line and monitoring efficiency
Checking weights, codes, and packaging to guarantee accuracy and compliance
Minimising waste and downtime while driving continuous improvement
Keeping accurate production records and ensuring all documentation is completed
Acting as the point of contact in the Shift Manager's absence
What we're looking for:
Previous supervisory or team leader experience in FMCG (ideally food manufacturing)
A solid understanding of health & safety and hygiene compliance
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English & Maths
Confident leadership skills with a hands-on approach
Desirable (but not essential):
FLT Counterbalance licence
Lean manufacturing knowledge
Food-related qualifications or further study
