Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Mechanic Assistant to join our SAMC Back Shop team in San Antonio, TX .
Position Responsibilities:
Assist Aircraft Mechanics in servicing, repairing, and overhauling of aircraft and related components Technicians will support modifications of various aircraft platforms
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Basic understanding of mechanical concepts or equivalent experience Knowledge of various basic hand tools ( wrench, drill, sander, die grinder etc ) Understanding basic drawings and schematics Ability to work variable shifts (i.e. scheduled and unscheduled overtime; weekends and holidays) to support mission requirements and workload
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with Precision Measuring Tools (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators)

Summary Starting Pay Rate : $50,000 / $24.04 per hour
Additive Pay:
$1.00/hourly for Airframe Certification $1.00/hourly for Powerplant Certification
