HR Generalist
About the Role
The HR Generalist plays a key role in supporting our people across the employee lifecycle. From onboarding and payroll to benefits, performance, and employee relations, this role is hands-on, people-focused, and an integral part of our HR team. Key Responsibilities
Partner with Senior Human Resources Manager to address HR-related needs, acting as a trusted resource across the company. Assist with hourly payroll processing in Paylocity, ensuring accuracy in timekeeping, overtime, and deductions. Support the recruitment process: posting roles, sourcing candidates, screening applicants, and coordinating interviews. Manage onboarding and offboarding to ensure smooth, professional transitions. Administer benefits and leave programs, helping employees navigate their options with clarity and care. Maintain hourly employee records in HRIS and keep data accurate, timely, and compliant. Support performance review cycles and training initiatives, keeping us Hungry to Grow. Provide guidance on employee relations issues, escalating as needed to HR leadership. Partner with leaders to implement engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and culture-building activities. Stay current on employment law and compliance requirements, helping us Raise the Standard. Pitch in on special projects and process improvements, showing a Bias for Action, when new challenges arise.

Qualifications
2-4 years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist role. Solid understanding of HR practices, payroll, and employment law. Experience processing payroll and/or working with hourly employees strongly preferred. Proficiency with HRIS platforms (Paylocity or similar a plus). Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. Prior experience with Paylocity or payroll processing for hourly workforces. Bilingual (Spanish/English), which would help support our diverse employee population.
