Role Summary
Serves as the primary contact for a specific compliance program. Creates and classifies reports, issues communications, assists with creation and maintenance of manuals and public information, supports training on compliance program, and completes unit administrative paperwork in support of a specific compliance program to ensure compliance with institutional rules and or laws/regulations.
This position performs activities to assist staff members in understanding and adhering to rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of the University, the NCAA and SEC and monitors for compliance.
Examples of Work Performed
-Serve as compliance point of contact for NCAA Division I Bylaws 16, 17, and 22 for all sports
-Coordinate playing and practice season declarations
-Coordinate time management plans, annual reviews
-Monitor CARA, RARA, team calendar, and other team activities
-Monitor individual and team competition limits
-Coordinate schedule approval process
-Monitor team travel and travel squad size limits
-Coordinate participation reports and maintain records of seasons of competition used
-Review and approve student-athlete participation in outside competition
-Coordinate approval process for foundation expenses
-Coordinate SA, manager, trainer, and video student worker complimentary tickets with ticket office
-Monitor coaches' discretionary tickets
-Coordinate facility approval process and related rules education for external entities
-Review and monitor SA awards
-Monitor purchases of nutritional supplements, equipment issuance, and other student-athlete support areas
-Monitor PSA/SA housing & vehicles
-Coordinate promotional item & appearance requests
-Monitor SA employment
-Review meals incidental to participation and occasional meals; including away from home meals & per diem issuance
-Coordinate approval process for foundation expenses
-Manage Red Card rosters
-Assist with financial aid records in CA, ARMS, SAP and/or Banner
-Oversee institution's name, image, likeness program and associated Bylaw 22 responsibilities (see page 5)
-Oversee student-athlete use of NILGo platform & maintain compliance with associated CSC guidance.
-Provide institutional support to agents, third party payors, multimedia rightsholders, and other external users as it relates to the NILGo platform
-Review NIL agreements for student-athletes to provide education and ensure compliance with NCAA legislation, state law, and institutional policy.
-Coordinate PSA gameday operations
-Coordinate and monitor complimentary tickets and credentials for PSA/PSA coaches and OM coaching staff guests
-Assist with financial aid processes, attend weekly meetings, assist with use of opportunity fund
-Develop, implement, enforce, and maintain, in conjunction with the appropriate campus partners, documented compliance policies and procedures for complimentary ticket administration, review of foundation expenses, playing and practice seasons, NIL, awards and benefits, and other relevant areas.
-Assist with waivers and interpretations
-Assist with education efforts Investigate, report, process secondary violations
Essential Functions

2. Issues compliance communications and provides education and resources to inquiring entities.
3. Assists with the creation of manuals and maintains compliance materials in accordance with established laws and regulations.
4. Creates and maintains compliance communication materials and updates platforms with changes when appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience: Two (2) years' experience related to the above described duties.
