Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll & HR administration specialist to join our Human Resources team. This role will be responsible for supporting various HR functions, with a deep focus on payroll activities. The ideal candidate will have a solid
understanding of HR processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality.

Main Roles And Responsibilities

-Payroll:

-Processing the monthly payroll for 5 entities in close liaison with 2 external payroll providers - for both local and expatriate population

-Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, changes to pay rates, pension fund updates and health insurance plan. 

-Review and verify payroll data in detail for accuracy (payslips checking). Process various payroll controls with the help of Google sheets and/or Excel. 

-Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employees' payroll-related inquiries. 

-Maintain payroll records in compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. 

-Work closely with the finance team and our Shared Service Center to reconcile payroll accounts. 

-Responsible for any internal and external audit and mandatory reporting

-Social Security/Benefits/Tax management

-Primary contact to tax authorities for any local taxes matters - including tax invoice management for
Quellensteuer
and reconciliation with payroll

-Full benefits management process including registration, primary contact with the different providers (pension, health insurance, social security), follow up on specific cases, payroll reconciliation and invoices.

-Maternity, sickness and accident process management - in coordination with the HR Business Partner

-International mobility : 

-Accurate reflection of expatriate compensation in payroll.

-Expatriate tax management, including interaction with external tax advisors and the Global tax team for specific queries.

-Enrollment of expatriates in social security and local Swiss benefits, offering advice on required actions based on individual situations (e.g., certificates of coverage, A1).

-Participate in the relationship management with our relocation vendors, coordinating closely with the HR Business Partner - especially on all financial and invoicing matters.

-Participation in various HR activities and projects 

Education/Experience Requirements
Basic qualifications include:

-At least 2 years of experience in a payroll role
- additional exposure to international mobility preferred. 

-Solid understanding of HR processes and best practices. 

-Proficient in German and English

-Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. 

-Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. 

-Proficient in Google G-Suite or Microsoft Office Suite and HR information systems, preferably Employee Central / SAP - Strong Excel or Google sheet knowledge are required for this role (formulas, vlookups, pivot tables…)

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

-Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confide
ntiality. 

-Knowledge of relevant labor laws and regulations, particularly relating to payroll and immigration. 

Preferred Qualifications:

-Experience with international employee management. 

-HR-Fachausweis, Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or similar certification. 

-Familiarity with HR software such as ADP, SAP HR
