With over 60 years of expertise, a leading UK manufacturer of high-quality drainage products and access covers are looking for a skilled and proactive Injection Moulding Machine Maintenance Engineer to help keep its high-performance manufacturing operations running smoothly to minimise downtime, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
What You’ll Be Doing
As Injection Moulding Machine Maintenance Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the injection moulding machines and associated equipment are operating at peak performance. Your day-to-day will include:
- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on injection moulding machines, robotics, and ancillary systems.
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical faults.
- Conducting scheduled servicing and calibration to meet safety and compliance standards.
- Supporting equipment installation, commissioning, and decommissioning.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives, including machinery upgrades / modifications.
What You’ll Bring to This Injection Moulding Machine Maintenance Engineer Role:
We’re looking for someone with hands-on experience and a problem-solving mindset. Ideally, you’ll have:
- Demonstrable experience in a maintenance engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven background in injection moulding or plastics manufacturing.
- Familiarity with robotics and automations systems.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and manuals.
- Experience with robotics and automation systems.
- Solid skills in fault finding, root cause analysis and implementing long-term solutions.
In return you will receive a salary of £40,000 - £53,000 pa.
