Job Title: Senior Air Quality Consultant
Location: Chester
Salary: GBP45,000 - GBP55,000 + Benefits
A leading environmental consultancy is looking for a Senior Air Quality Consultant to join its established team in Chester. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to step into a senior role, leading technical delivery, mentoring junior staff, and managing client relationships across a wide variety of infrastructure, transport, and urban development projects.
As a Senior Air Quality Consultant, you will take responsibility for delivering air quality impact assessments, dispersion modelling, and regulatory compliance projects. You will liaise with developers, planners, and local authorities, producing high-quality reports while supporting the business development of the Chester office.

Duties for the role of Senior Air Quality Consultant include:
Managing and delivering air quality consultancy projects across multiple sectors

Undertaking dispersion modelling and reviewing technical assessments
*
Producing high-quality reports, ES chapters, and client presentations
*
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
*
Mentoring junior staff and supporting their professional development
*
Supporting proposals and business development activities
Skills and experience required for the role of Senior Air Quality Consultant:
Minimum of 4 years' experience in air quality consultancy or regulation
*
Proficiency with ADMS, AERMOD, and knowledge of IAQM/EPUK guidance
*
Degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Geography, or related subject
*
Chartered status (CEnv/IAQM) or working towards desirable
*
Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
*
Full UK driving licence
