Compensation:
$68,000 - $75,000 yearly
Responsibilities: Assist attorneys in all aspects of case preparation and litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery, and legal correspondence. Manage and maintain case files in our firm's CRM (Filevine), ensuring accuracy, completeness, and organization. Support clients by explaining legal processes, answering questions, and providing regular case updates in a compassionate and clear manner. Coordinate with medical providers, experts, and third parties to gather necessary documentation for cases. Track and manage deadlines, including court dates, discovery responses, and statute of limitations. Prepare and file legal documents with courts and agencies. Assist in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, trial binders, and evidence. Provide reassurance and guidance to clients during stressful and emotional situations. Qualifications:

Legal Experience & Knowledge
REQUIRED: 2+ years of experience in Florida personal injury litigation. Additional experience in GA is highly valued. Strong understanding of legal procedures, discovery, court systems, and trial preparation. Experience drafting pleadings, discovery, and demand packages. Proficiency with case management systems (e.g., Filevine, Clio, Needles).
Client-Centered Service
Ability to communicate complex legal concepts in a clear, compassionate manner. Experience working with clients during stressful and emotional times, demonstrating empathy and professionalism. Conflict resolution skills to navigate difficult client conversations and advocate for their needs.
Case & Office Management Skills
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and filings. Familiarity with medical records, insurance claims, and settlement processes. Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Technology & Data Management
Proficiency with legal technology, including case management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Commitment to maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records for reporting and accountability. Adaptability in learning new software and tools for efficiency and compliance.
