The business provide superb training with a defined plan in place for each position they hire, and would be well suited to a candidate with experience in a mechanical engineering, ranging from design, R&D and production engineering.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Designing solutions on CAD (Solid Works)
* Creating new parts on the ERP system for new design iterations coming through as orders
* Resolving issues that may arise in production relating to the products
* Contributing to the R&D RoadMap (Product Development Strategy)
* Working closely with customers and support team to resolve issues
* Providing technical support and training to development and support team
* Utilise use of Lean Thinking to eliminate waste from our processes and designs and make things simple
Requirements
* Understanding of mechanical processes involved in assembly.
* Continuous improvement background.
* Experience with solidworks.
* Experience of product design and development.
