Summary:
The Employee Relations Specialist supports the Talent Business Partner team by handling low to moderate risk employee relations matters. This role assists with investigations, performance management issues, workplace concerns, and compliance with company policies and employment laws. The Specialist will help foster a positive employee experience by providing timely and accurate support to managers and employees.
Primary Responsibilities:
-Conduct fact-finding and assist with internal investigations related to employee complaints and workplace concerns.
-Document findings and prepare investigation summaries and reports.
-Provide guidance to managers and employees on company policies, processes, and best practices for addressing workplace issues.
-Partner with Talent & Culture team members to ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.
-Support responses to unemployment claims and prepare reporting as directed.
-Assist in the development and delivery of training and communications related to employee relations topics.
-Participate in Talent & Culture projects and initiatives as assigned.
-Maintain confidentiality and escalate issues appropriately when higher-level review is needed.

Education & Experience:
-Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
-1–2 years of experience in Human Resources, Employee Relations, or related field.
-Familiarity with employment law basics (e.g., ADA, FMLA, EEO, Title VII).
-Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment preferred.
-HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) a plus.
