Job Summary/Purpose:

Provides analytics function for the Business & Economic Development department to improve execution and drive growth in the Entergy New Orleans (ENO) service territory. Serve as a central point of contact for requests for data and information regarding ENO’s customer accounts. Support 2 project managers, Director and VP of Economic Development.  Implement systems and processes for data accuracy, access, and reporting for Economic Development team, and assist in securing new and retained business.  

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

- Conducts complex business and financial analysis based on project scope and objectives and develops policy recommendations to management based on findings.
-Defines protocols and requirements for data quality control and ensures that all analysis and project work adheres to requirements.
-Provides industry expertise and applies best practices to project work based on experience.
-Interacts with department management and may interact with leadership throughout the organization to identify issues that warrant future projects.
-Ongoing top sales results analysis (monthly, quarterly, annually) covering market segment trends, base customer growth and variances to forecasts.
-Stays abreast of regulatory or political changes that may impact Entergy policy decision making.
-Assist in the development and management of the department’s strategic annual business plan, aligning department goals & tactics with the vision of the company.
-Create dynamic presentations and external communications for the ENO Economic Development team in preparation for executive, internal or external meetings, with attention to consistent company branding and important messages.
-Effectively prepare team for internal meetings and other cyclical events like load forecasting, sales variances, storm season preparations, Salesforce CRM & Capital Projects meetings; maintaining collaborative and harmonious relationships with other internal departments.
-Departmental Subject Matter Expert on several internal software products and tools such as CCS, EpochField, Google Earth Pro, SharePoint, Salesforce CRM, Business Warehouse, PowerBI dashboards.
-Coordinate and deliver regular and ad hoc data requests and communications regarding managed accounts and pipeline projects, as well as management of Commercial Customer accounts’ project pipeline in Salesforce CRM.
-Assist Customer Service Managers with preparation of annual/quarterly reviews for Commercial customers.
 

Position reports to Director, Business & Economic Development, however, a matrixed collaboration with economic development project managers and customer service managers may be required.

Minimum education required of the position:

 Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field required or equivalent work experience. Undergraduate major in Business Analytics, Economics, Finance, or Information Systems & Decision Sciences desired.

Minimum experience required of the position:

-Analyst I: 0-2 years of professional experience.
-Analyst II: 2-4 years of professional experience. 
-Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to work within a team environment. Strong project management, analytical and problem-solving skills. Good working knowledge of PC operations and software. Analytical skill set with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
