Job Description
-Communicate with the team regarding spoilage, impound reports, customer returns and audit results.
-Participate in customer return investigations to assign root cause and corrective actions.
-Participate in various quality related audits.
-Ensure understanding and compliance with the quality system, and suggest improvements to the system.
-Lead quality improvement projects and 5-whys/RCA from quality missed standards KPIs.
-Work within the team and with other process areas to communicate quality issues with incoming materials.
-Effectively communicate with team members on incoming and outgoing shifts regarding quality issues and other issues that affect quality (machine, material, service, etc.)
-Participate in improvement projects that impact quality.
-Work with others to make quality decisions on questionable material.
-Perform other related duties as assigned.
-Function as a key communicator which includes both internal and external communications regarding critical issues impacting the department's performance.

-Requires a high school diploma or equivalent
