We are looking for an experienced Supervsior with a background in Electrical & Control systems on a permanaet basis. What You Will Do:
- Supervise the installation and assembly of electrical and pneumatic control systems, both on-site and off-site.
- Provide hands-on support and technical guidance during complex installations, fault-finding, and commissioning.
- Interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation to lead and support project delivery.
- Coordinate and manage the daily activities of fitters and apprentices, ensuring quality and efficiency.
- Test, install, and troubleshoot electrical control circuits and components, including relay logic, sensors, motor starters, servo drives, and more.
- Maintain accurate records of assembly work, installation tasks, and testing/commissioning results.
What You Will Bring:
- Proven experience in automation or complex material handling environments, with a minimum of 5 years in a multi-skilled role.
- Strong knowledge of PLC-based control systems and statutory compliance requirements.
- Ability to prioritise and manage workloads effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 3, ONC/D, HNC, or City & Guilds certifications.
