We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to manage the commercial operations of the Central Region, expand the business portfolio and manage the Account Executives.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

-Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business
-Ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities; meet potential clients by growing, maintaining and leveraging your network
-Identify potential clients and the decision-makers within the client organization
-Research and build relationships with new clients
-Set up meetings with client decision-makers
-Plan approaches and pitches; work with the team to develop proposals that speak to the client’s needs, concerns and objectives
-Participate in pricing the solution/service
-Handle objections by clarifying questions, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion
What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

-University degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field
-5 years of experience in sales
-Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
-A valid driver’s license
-High level in English
-Experience in team management
It’d be great if you also have:

-Experience in business development or related areas
-Demonstrated results in meeting sales targets
-Advanced knowledge of the sales process, including the ability to understand and interpret customer needs using fact-finding to identify sales opportunities
-A high level of passion to succeed and strong self-motivation
-The ability to work effectively as a team player with a strong work ethic
-A keen interest in the transportation industry
