Description:
The Skate School Associate is the first point of contact for customers visiting our shop and skate school. This role is responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting with answering questions, handling payments, and ensuring a smooth front desk operation. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Requirements:
. Greet customers and provide a welcoming, professional first impression.
. Assist with skate school program inquiries.
. Handle payments, receipts, and maintain accurate records.
. Answer in-person questions regarding rentals, and shop services.
. Support the coordination of skate school activities, including check-in/check-out of students.
. Maintain front desk area and shop displays in a clean and organized manner.
. Handle customer concerns or escalate issues to management as needed.
Qualifications:
. Previous experience in customer service, retail, or front desk preferred.
. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
. Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment.
. Comfortable handling cash, card transactions, and basic computer systems.
. Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude.
. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Work Environment
This position requires that work be performed from the Wollman Rink offices, but attendance at events taking place at the rink or offsite, including on weekends and/or holidays, may be required.
