Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected manufacturing business in Stafford, seeking experienced and motivated Technical Operators to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical mindset and experience in a production or technical environment, who's looking to take the next step in a stable and rewarding role.
Shift Patterns Available:
Day Shift (Annual Salary A£32,000 - A£33,000): Week 1: Monday - Wednesday, 7am - 7pm
Week 2: Monday - Thursday, 7am - 7pm
Night Shift (Annual Salary A£32,000 - A£33,000 + A£2,730 shift allowance):
* Week 1: Sunday - Wednesday, 7pm - 7am
* Week 2: Monday - Wednesday, 7pm - 7am
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate high-spec processing and packing equipment using recipe management systems
* Perform regular equipment start-up, shutdown and maintenance procedures
* Ensure all safety protocols (LOTO) and quality standards (HACCP, GMP) are upheld
* Complete and maintain production documentation including manufacturing and quality records
* Carry out autonomous maintenance activities including cleaning and inspections
* Diagnose equipment issues, understand mechanical structures, and address performance abnormalities
* Apply problem-solving techniques (e.g. RCA, 5 Whys) to identify root causes and improve processes
* Champion continuous improvement and maintain high performance in a fast-paced environment
* Adhere to all health & safety, food safety, quality, and environmental standards
What they are Looking For:
* Previous experience in a similar technical or production-based role
* Strong awareness of safety, quality and manufacturing standards
* A hands-on individual with good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
* Reliable, self-motivated and committed to maintaining high standards
* Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
* Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities
* Strong communication and adaptability in a changing environment
Desirable Attributes:
* Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, or other food safety practices
* Experience working within a manufacturing environment
* A positive, forward-thinking attitude with a passion for continuous improvement
