A dynamic and people-focused planning and development consultancy is seeking an enthusiastic Town Planner to join its growing team in Altrincham. Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare site appraisals, planning statements, and minor applications
* Translate research and policy into clear, concise written advice
* Monitor applications proactively and coordinate with technical/design teams
* Produce project updates, reports, and social media content for client and director review
* Support senior colleagues on larger-scale projects while independently managing smaller ones
* Build strong client and stakeholder relationships through clear communication and advice

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

* A Master's degree in Town Planning, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related field
* Some relevant professional experience in town planning or a related discipline
* Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Adobe Creative Suite advantageous)
* Associate membership of the RTPI and a proactive approach toward full accreditation
* A team-oriented, proactive attitude with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
