Provide individual and small group support to students with special educational needs.
Assist students with academic work, social skills, and emotional well-being.
Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour.
Contribute to the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs).
Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.
Support students in accessing the curriculum and achieving their learning goals.
Implement strategies to manage challenging behaviour and promote positive behaviour.
Requirements
We're looking for you, if:
You have a minimum of 6 months experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant in a UK school.
You hold a valid Enhanced DBS check (or are willing for one).
You are eligible to work in the UK.
You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You demonstrate patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with SEN.
You are able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
You have strong organisational and time-management skills.
Experience working with a range of SEN needs (desirable).
Knowledge of relevant safeguarding procedures (desirable).
You have a positive and proactive approach to problem-solving.
