National Compliance Co-ordinator

Worcester based with a balance of home and office working

£37,414 - £39,383 per year

35 hours per week

We’re looking for a National Compliance Coordinator to join our Compliance team based in Worcester, which currently consists of over 60 dedicated professionals.

As one of the UK’s largest social landlords, Sanctuary owns and manages thousands of properties, and ensuring the safety of our residents is at the heart of everything we do. In this role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining high standards of safety and compliance across our housing stock.

We’re seeking someone with a solid background in property compliance, ideally with experience in reviewing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing best practices. You’ll be detail-oriented but also able to take a strategic view, helping to shape the direction of our compliance programme.

This is a leadership role, so we’re looking for a confident and experienced team manager who can inspire high performance, handle staffing matters with empathy and professionalism, and deliver quality outcomes through effective team management.

The role of
National Compliance Co-ordinator
will include:

-Leading a team of 10 within our electrical safety function, working closely with contractors and internal teams to deliver our electrical compliance programme
-Building strong relationships with colleagues and external partners, offering clear guidance, support, and advice
 

Skills and experiences:

style="margin-top:0.0cm;margin-bottom:0.0cm" type="disc"-
-Proven experience in a compliance-related role or similar field
-Experience in electrical safety would be beneficial and is welcomed
-Strong background in staff management, with the ability to lead and develop a team
-Some experience in budget management and financial oversight
-Good working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and its practical application
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to present and negotiate effectively
-Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (or equivalent software)
