Job Summary

As a member of the Talent and Culture organization at NRG, you’ll join a team that values collaboration, innovation, and growth. We’re building a world-class Employee Solutions function that streamlines processes, enhances the candidate and employee experience, and drives operational excellence.

The Team Lead, Employee Solutions will manage and support a team of Talent Acquisition Coordinators, ensuring the smooth execution of recruitment processes and a best-in-class candidate experience. In this role, you will oversee daily operations related to interview scheduling and requisition management, while also partnering directly with the executive recruiting team to provide end-to-end support for executive-level candidates. You’ll be responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements, coaching and developing team members, and serving as a key liaison between recruiters, hiring managers, and cross-functional partners.

What You’ll Do

Leadership & Team Management

-Lead and mentor a team of Talent Acquisition Coordinators by providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
-Assign tasks, manage workloads, and ensure timely completion of all recruitment coordination activities.
-Monitor team performance against KPIs and goals, providing regular feedback and conducting performance reviews.

Recruitment Process Management

-Provide end-to-end coordination support for executive recruiting, including managing confidential requisitions, interview scheduling, and onboarding tasks.
-Oversee and optimize interview scheduling and requisition management processes,
-Collaborate with Talent Information Systems teams to streamline and automate processes and drive continuous improvement.
-Partner with Sr. Manager, Employee Solutions to develop strategic plans, establish team goals, and ensure alignment with broader TA and onboarding initiatives.

Stakeholder Collaboration

-Act as the primary point of contact for addressing TA coordination opportunities.
-Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders (e.g., Talent Business Partners, IT, TA Operations, TIS) to deliver consistent results and a best-in-class candidate experience.

Reporting & Analytics

-Lead the team in conducting recurring data audits for position and requisition data to ensure accuracy, compliance, and process integrity.
-Analyze team performance metrics and pull reports from systems such as SuccessFactors, AirTable and Paradox to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
-Provide regular updates to TA leadership on team performance, effectiveness, and process outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

Minimum Requirements

-5+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, HR, or related operations support, including at least 2 years in a leadership or team lead role.
-Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and scheduling tools (e.g., SuccessFactors, Paradox).
-Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

-Demonstrated success in delegating tasks, setting clear expectations, and providing regular feedback.
-Experience supporting executive-level recruiting or highly confidential hiring processes.
-Familiarity with recruiting best practices and employment law, with the ability to ensure compliance.
-Proven ability to extract and analyze operational data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
-Skilled in building relationships with cross-functional partners and influencing process adoption.

Working Conditions

-Hybrid role based in Lehi, UT, Princeton, NJ, or Houston, TX with in-office days on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
-Occasional travel required for business or project needs.
-Flexibility to adjust schedule occasionally to support key initiatives or special projects.
-Work is primarily sedentary, involving computer-based tasks.
-Rare lifting requirements beyond routine office activities.
