Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of students with special educational needs? We are looking for a caring and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a forward-thinking school in Surrey that provides a holistic approach to education, therapy, and care. If you are driven to help young people overcome challenges and thrive, this could be the perfect role for you.

About The School:
This inclusive and dynamic school works collaboratively with families, staff, and professionals to create a supportive learning environment for students with complex learning difficulties. The school's mission is to ensure every student, regardless of their challenges, has the opportunity to reach their full potential. The team is committed to fostering personal and academic growth, providing a comprehensive learning experience that equips students with skills for life.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide personalized support to students with special educational needs, working in partnership with teachers and therapists.
* Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, encouraging students to grow in confidence and independence.
* Assist with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies.
* Offer support with students' personal care and mobility needs, where necessary.
* Build strong, trusting relationships with students, families, and staff, contributing to a collaborative school community.
* Support the emotional and social development of students, helping them navigate challenges in a compassionate and patient manner.

What's On Offer:

* A welcoming and supportive team environment that prioritizes personal and professional growth.
* Opportunities to work alongside a diverse team of experienced educators, therapists, and specialists.
* A meaningful role where you will make a tangible difference in the lives of students with complex needs.
* A positive, forward-looking school community that values creativity, care, and collaboration.

Ideal Candidate:

* Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs (SEN) is preferred.
* Patience, empathy, and adaptability are essential qualities for this role.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
* A commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment where all students are supported in achieving their best.
* A genuine passion for working with young people and helping them navigate their individual learning journeys.

If you are motivated by the idea of making a real difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs, we would love to hear from you.
